Christopher Brader has over forty years of experience in Asian markets and investment funds and equity investments. In 2011, he moved from London to Asia and founded his investment consultancy advising several European based investors on their Asian investments. In conducting his research, he visits over 60 companies each year across the region.
Preceding this, he spent a decade in London as a Fund Manager covering Asia and the Indian Sub-Continent at Advance Emerging Capital Ltd., (now part of Aberdeen Asset Management Ltd.) an Emerging and Frontier Market fund of fund investor. From 1993 to 2000, Christopher ran the Emerging Market closed end funds broking teams at SG Securities and ING Baring Securities, raising US$3.5Bn in new Funds. During the 21 years prior to that, he was an Asian and Japanese institutional sales/research head for Cazenove & Co, Hill Samuel and BZW Securities working in London, Hong Kong, Tokyo and New York. He is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment in the UK.
Christopher is an independent non-executive Director of the LIM Japan Fund Ltd. managed by LIM Advisors, an independent Director of the holding company for the LIM Advisors’ Group, and an independent Director of the Korea Fund Inc., listed on the New York Stock Exchange and regulated by the SEC.
